How we check
Zenerios lists eighteen hotels in four categories and describes each of them to the same plan. This page sets out how the list was made, where the material comes from, what the site deliberately leaves out, and how to tell us that something has changed.
How the hotels were chosen
Each category was filled with houses that are open, that can be visited, and that can be described from public material. Nothing was included because it was offered to us, and nothing was left out because it declined to take part. Where a category needed a house that had closed, a working one took its place.
Where the material comes from
Entries are written from hotel and operator sites, from maps, and from published material about the buildings. Where a detail could not be confirmed in a public source, the sentence was rewritten so that it holds without that detail. Nothing is invented to fill a heading, including faults and building histories.
What is not on this site
There are no prices, star classifications, room counts, ratings or guest reviews here, and no booking buttons or affiliate links. Weather, access, availability and experience are never promised. In the casino section, the gaming floor is not described, assessed or discussed at all.
Updating and corrections
An entry is rewritten when a hotel changes something the text describes, and the check line at the foot of the entry moves forward at the same time. If you find something wrong or out of date, write to us through the contact page and say which entry it concerns.
The same three headings
Every entry carries a summary of the house, a paragraph on where it stands, and a paragraph on what is worth settling in advance. The order never changes, so entries can be read against each other. Where a house is one address of a chain, or a separate site of an operator, the entry says so.
