Zenerios
A short, steady guide to eighteen hotels in four categories.
Zenerios is an independent reference to eighteen hotels grouped into art hotels, casino hotels, ice hotels and capsule hotels. Every house on the list is open and can be visited. Nothing here is sold, booked or recommended, and no hotel pays for its place in the index.
Each entry follows the same plan: what the hotel is, where it stands, and what is useful to settle before arrival. The wording stays with what public sources support, and the foot of the entry gives the month it was last read against those sources.
All eighteen hotels
The index runs by section, in the order the site uses: art, casino, ice, capsule.
Four categories
Art Hotels
City hotels in older or converted buildings, where a courtyard, a gallery or a shared ground floor does as much work as the rooms themselves.
Casino Hotels
Four Canadian resort complexes covered as hotels and resorts. Their buildings, halls, restaurants and grounds are described; the gaming floor is not.
Ice Hotels
Winter lodges in the north of Sweden. What stands on each site changes from season to season, so the entries stay with the buildings rather than the weather.
Capsule Hotels
Houses built around compact cabins rather than standard rooms, with washing, storage and sitting space moved out of the cabin and into shared floors.
How entries are written
Every entry keeps to three headings in one order: a summary of the house, a paragraph on where it stands, and a paragraph on what is worth settling in advance. Nothing is added to fill a gap, and nothing is left out to make a place read better than it is.
Facts come from hotel sites, maps and published material. Where a detail could not be confirmed in a public source, the sentence was rewritten so that it holds without that detail. Where a house is one address of a chain, or a separate site of the same operator, the entry says so in plain words.
The site carries no prices, no star classifications, no room counts and no ratings. There are no booking links and no paid placements. If something described here has changed, the note on the contact page explains how to report it.
